The house has the following rooms, laid out in 130 m2:
The Old Cellar
Bedroom La Sabina
The remaining rooms are located on the upper floor. The main bedroom is above the old cellar and combines fine wood floors and ceilings with white pipeclay walls. It also conserves the old benches in front of two windows from which you can gaze at the amazing views of the valley of El Golfo, as if in the best of belvederes.
Bedroom El Molino
This attractive and bright room leads to an ample terrace with incredible views of the Fuga de Gorreta (habitat of Salmor`s giant lizard) and the Atlantic Ocean.
Kitchen
It replicates the old one and has been built with cultivated canary pine wood. It evokes the flavour of the past while supplying modern facilities. Fully equipped with kithcen utensils and items. It has a large window facing the terrace.
Bathroom
In the same way as the rest of the house, this room has been restored in order to please the guest. One will be surprised here by the cascade created by the natural stone integrated into the wall. You can enjoy a relaxing bath below it while the floor, with callados de mar, massage and stimulate the sole of your feet.
Living-Dinning room
This is an elegant and comfortable room, due to its careful interior design as well as to the combination of volcanic stone fit into the walls and the lintels of firebrand decorating the doors. These fine materials contribute to the warmth of the room which conserves an antique water vessel that today illuminates indirectly this space. The living-dinning room also leads to the terrace: the best place to share the sunset.
Smoking area
This part of the house, strategically located next to the kitchen, has a small bar ideal for enjoying an after lunch/dinner drink and cigar. It is a tribute to Don Blas Quintero Zamora, who worked as a labourer in Cuba’s tobacco fields in the late 1800’s in order to build this house. He also introduced new varieties of tobacco that today grow wildly in El Lunchón.
Solarium and bar (“El Mentidero”)
Located above the old well, this is an ample area to relax. It is carefully designed to offer a space to enjoy with your partner, family or friends the amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and the exuberant green mountains of the Jinama Cliff.
The estate
The estate surrounds the house and extends towards the mountain. It is made up of terraced gardens covering the hillside and sprinkled with fruit trees: papaya, guava, medlar, mandarin, orange, peach, mulberry, fig and early fig. It also includes vineyards and vegetable gardens close to the house.
